Minnesota Lake and Bake is proud to serve freshly made desserts and drinks in our Deephaven store and across the state.

The idea for Lake and Bake first bubbled up during one of those late-night, slightly magical moments: sipping tea, devouring baked goods, and wondering, “Why don’t more people get to enjoy this kind of happiness by the lake?”

At the heart of it all is our owner, who has spent over 16 years in the wedding cake and dessert business. She’s whipped buttercream at midnight, stacked towering cakes that defy gravity, and discovered that her true love language is baking for others. Nothing says I adore you quite like a cupcake.

Her philosophy is simple: use the best ingredients, treat every dessert like it’s the most important bite of someone’s day, and make sure there’s something for everyone. That’s why our menu ranges from the classics to customizable options—regular, vegan, gluten-free, and even THC-infused creations for those who like their sugar with a little extra sparkle.

Our mission? To bring whimsical, warm-from-the-oven treats to your hands, whether you’re at the lake or at home, making life a little slower and desserts somehow taste even sweeter. Whether you’re dunking a cookie into your morning coffee, celebrating with cake, or discovering that the pie mysteriously vanished (again), we want to make your taste buds as happy as your heart.
